We are a small family owned moving business that specializes in local moves but do some long distance moves. We have been in business since 2003, with years of prior experience with other companies. We serve a radius of 150 miles of Perryville, Maryland. Our goal is to make your moving experience a great one. We understand that it is a stressful process. We offer moving, packing, packing material, storage options, as well as a cleaning service. We charge our customers a flat rate for moving or we can do it by the hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
The flat rate move is calculated by giving us an itemized list of furniture. Ex. Master bedroom: dresser w/ mirror, queen bed, head board/foot board, or hb/fb, T.V., chest of drawers, hope chest. Its hard to estimate boxes but we can a close count by the list that is given and we can agree on a box count to give you a price. We also understand that a couple pieces maybe left out but do not try to leave out a whole room.
The hourly rate is set by the number of men and a truck, as well as the mileage of travel.
We perfer the flat rate method, that away you will know how much you will pay before the move. That helps us to be able to plan our work week as well.
We are fully insured up to $50,000 of cargo insurance (furniture). That covers any lost, stolen, or damaged furniture. We also carry a liability insurance that covers any household damage that may occur.Our trucks are covered with full coverage as well.
